-Nadine Davis- What does NASP® mean to me? Well, that is a great question. NASP®, unlike other programs, allows kids to succeed. It pushes kids to do better not only for their team, but for themselves. I have been shooting archery for 3 years now. The change I have seen in myself, but also in others because of archery, is insane. NASP® is a great program to get involved in because it teaches you to be patience, focus, and to work hard to achieve your goals. Every time I go to archery practice, I see nothing but smiles on kids’ faces. The thing about NASP® is that it brings kids together, and not only do they become friends, they become family over time.
This program is one of the best programs to be a part of. It is more than just shooting bow. Not only do patience, focus and hard work help you on the range, but it helps you in school, and everyday life. Archery allows you to learn how to calm yourself and to just let go. Like my coach says, “When you are on the line, clear the mind.” NASP® has much more to offer than that though. It gives archers the opportunity to earn scholarships. It also gets kids off technology and has them actually interact with people, and puts smiles on everyone’s faces.
In the end, NASP® is by far the best program anyone can join. You create memories with great people. You make lifelong friendships. It allows you to reach and achieve your goals. It helps you focus better in school. It has one of the friendliest atmospheres to be around. Plus, it gives you the friendliest competition there is. NASP® brings people together, and helps create memories that are going to last for a lifetime.
